Pictured here are women in the Jamestown community in Accra, Ghana who serve as the backbone of the Kenkey market in the region. Thousands of these maize-based balls of dough are distributed via street hawking every day, until recently. This group is one of many groups suffering due to economic hardships. 

This broadcast about these women was shot, edited, and co-scripted by me.

During my time as an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon, I had the pleasure of leading and producing a podcast for our Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. 
The Podcast titled "Major Misconceptions," highlighted two students with different majors and the potential stereotypes that follow.
